Back to Password Generator

Privacy & Terms

Last updated: February 19, 2026

The short version: Password generation happens locally in your browser. Generated passwords are not sent to the server, and we do not run analytics or tracking scripts.

What This App Processes

Generated secrets: Passwords and passphrases are generated locally in your browser tab. Generation happens on-device and generated values are not sent to an application server for processing or storage.

Settings links: This app can encode generation settings in the URL hash (#...) to support bookmarking and sharing configurations. These settings are not the generated password itself, and the hash fragment is not sent in HTTP request paths.

No accounts: There are no user accounts, sign-ups, or profile records for this tool.

Technical Infrastructure Logs

Like most websites, hosting and edge infrastructure may process limited technical request metadata (for example IP address, timestamp, request path, and basic user-agent information) for reliability, security monitoring, and abuse prevention.

These logs are operational infrastructure data, not a record of generated passwords.

What We Do Not Do

We do not run analytics trackers, ad-tech scripts, or cross-site profiling systems on this product. We do not sell your data.

We do not store generated passwords or passphrases on a backend service.

Retention

Generated values remain in your browser context for active use and can be copied by you. Password history shown in the UI is session-memory state and is cleared when the page context is reset.

Infrastructure logs are retained by providers under their operational and legal policies.

Security Boundaries

This tool cannot protect against compromised endpoints, malware, keyloggers, clipboard capture, phishing, or unsafe password handling after generation. You remain responsible for how generated credentials are stored and used.

Use At Your Own Risk

This tool is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

You are responsible for safe operational use, including where and how generated passwords are used.

No Warranty

While the generator uses cryptographically secure browser randomness, we make no guarantee that a generated password is suitable for every system, policy, or threat model.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nodeblue is not liable for losses or damages resulting from use of this tool.

Changes

We may update this page if product behavior, infrastructure, or legal requirements change.
